The John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art, recognized as the official State Art Museum of Florida, added the 30,000 square foot Ulla R. and Arthur F. Searing Wing in 2007. Great care was taken to match the existing structure designed by architect John Phillips in 1925.
David Otterness of Willis A. Smith Construction made Olde Tyme the first qualified subcontractor for the project.
"The main project goal was to replicate the existing cast stone banding from the existing art museum that dated back to the mid 20's. Olde Tyme's scope of work for the construction process went extremely well, on time, on budget and quality work. The museum staff could not believe how the existing cast stone was replicated admirably."
"Your ability to work with the owner, architect and CM to derive the desired look and finish was greatly appreciated. And, by the way, the owner has expressed to us his total satisfaction with the quality and workmanship which your company displayed."
"You have our recommendation, and I would like to say to anyone considering your Company as part of their subcontractor team, 'You are making a mistake by not making Olde Tyme Construction the first call for any cast stone project'. Thank you."
